Hello, my name is Michelle Struck. I am a pianist based in Springfield, IL. I run a private, all-ages piano studio in home. In my 31 years of teaching, one of my favorite things is seeing the joy students experience as they learn to play music. I use creative methods to make learning to play the piano tons of fun and provide my students with opportunities to share their music with the community.

 

As a teacher, I enjoy networking with other local piano teachers. I am a member of Springfield Federation of Music Clubs, the local chapter of the National Federation of Music Clubs. I have served as president, secretary and treasurer of SFMC and work with other member teachers to put on the annual piano Festival each year.

 

In addition to teaching, I am on the worship arts staff at my local church where I play for worship services and the choir. For the past 32 years, I have accompanied many weddings in my community. I enjoy working with couples to select and perform music for their special day.
